The Pergolino retractable terrace awning system is ideal for larger areas to provide shade with a high degree of stability in wind and moderate rain. The support frame is unassuming and can be designed to blend in with the architecture of the home. Elegantly housed when retracted, the fabric and motor remain fully protected from the weather elements, maintaining its appearance and increasing its lifespan. This system is available as a single unit at widths up to 23’ and projections up to 19’-8”, and even has the flexibility to couple multiple units to achieve even greater widths.

Retractable awning systems combine beauty with functionality. At the convenient touch of a button on a wall mounted switch or on a hand held remote control, one is able to shade and cool any deck, patio, window, terrace or balcony automatically. One single device can control an individual and / or a group of motorized systems from a central location. Control of your motorized awnings can also be achieved from any mobile device using Somfy’s MyLink wireless receiver and specialized app.
Sun and wind sensors allow your motorized systems to automatically react to changing weather conditions. The Sun Sensor reacts to different sun levels, extending your awning automatically to cool both outdoor and indoor spaces. The Wind Sensor automatically retracts your motorized awning when it senses high winds.

How large of an area can I have covered?
A single unit can be manufactured up to 23’ wide with a projection of 19’ 8”. Even larger areas can be achieved by connecting multiple units together.
Can a terrace awning extend beyond my deck or patio?
For additional coverage, the Pergolino retractable terrace awning is designed to allow the awning to extend up to 3’ past its support leg. This gives great flexibility when deciding the best location for installing the support posts.

Can a terrace awning be operated in high winds?
If you feel comfortable sitting out in a moderate wind, the awning system will be able to withstand those winds. Our Pergolino retractable terrace awning system has an additional front lock that provides more stability during wind and rain.
What do I do with my terrace awning in the winter?
The Pergolino terrace awning system incorporates a cassette design where the fabric is fully protected from the weather elements when fully retracted. The frame of the system is finished with a high quality powder coat, providing exceptional longevity.

Installation Process
Detailed Measuring
A site visit is performed by our lead sales technician. Following a conversation with the client, detailed measurements are taken as all our products are custom manufactured to our clients specifications. A quotation is provided, with frame and fabric samples available for review and selection right on site.
Area Preparation & Installation
Upon arrival, our technicians will discuss the installation process with you, ensuring you are comfortable with every step. The technicians will safely move any furniture from the main working area and will replace the furniture to it’s original location once installation is complete. The installation will last approximately 3-4 hours.
